The President of the Court of First Instance shall direct the judicial business and the administration of the Court of First Instance. He shall preside at plenary sittings and deliberations. The President of the Court of First Instance shall preside over the Grand Chamber. If the President of the Court of First Instance is assigned to a Chamber of three or of five Judges, he shall preside over that Chamber.
